Most Promising Junior. Danny Trotter |

I consider this award as most deserving for many reasons. This lad has been a very loyal junior member for the past 6 years and there have not been many Friday club nights that he has missed. I have noticed a considerable improvement in his game over the past season and, whilst he should have won more matches, I think this coming season will see a much higher average.

A young man of outstanding talent who has had a truly remarkable season in achieving victories over much higher ranked players. His performance helped his team to a superb 2 nd division championship 38 points clear of their nearest rivals and he registered a 93% average. |

This young man joined the club just over a year ago and it was immediately apparent that his enthusiasm and potential made him a “must” for team selection. He has enjoyed a superb season in the Hector side and his contribution of over 90% played a massive part in the team’s outstanding Division 4 championship. |

I am sure that all of us at the Club are delighted that one of our most admired, loyal and trusted players remains alive and well despite the fright he gave us back in the Autumn. Not only is he a fighter when on the table, he also showed that quality when confronted with a serious health problem.
