CTTC v LARKFIELD

In order to assist Larkfield in their quest for SportEngland "ClubMark" recognition, a friendly match was arranged for the D team of Hugh Scarlin, Luke Shacklock and Chris Henwood against Chatham Table Tennis Club's "Invincible" juniors, Joel Shopland, George Wells and Nick Comber. The Larkfield lad's greater experience showed in their 8-1 win although the CTTC boys made them work for it. George, Chatham's "Junior of the Year" (middle, right) won the 5th leg against Chris and his games against Hugh and Luke went to 4 legs. A nice evening which underlined both club's commitment to junior development.
