Chatham Table Tennis Club side Endurance won the Charles Stampe League Handicap tournament.

The 2012 Charles Stampe Final took place on Tuesday 17th April at the Howard Table Tennis Centre. The participants were Chatham Endurance and Sturdee VI. The Endurance line up was Regan O’Neil, Ben Foster and Evie Foster. The Sturdee VI line up was Ted Tyderman, Bob Cox and Barry Wallwork from Division 1 of the Medway League. The match was very keenly contested until the latter stages when the brilliant junior hammered home their advantage. Outstanding performance of the evening was Ben Foster’s achievement in winning 3 legs without the handicap. The final result was a win for Chatham Endurance by 38 points, the match was played with a very sporting manner and the good attendance enjoyed a very exciting contest. Well done Evie, Ben and Regan not forgetting their captain Mason a vital part of this very promising squad. For my part I am proud to have been associated with these fantastic youngsters.
